Google Browser Size
Google Labs has a visualization of the different browser sizes used by people accessing google.com. It can be overlaid over any site to see what percentage of people have to scroll to see elements, the drop off after 1024x768 is quite remarkable. How much of this is negated by people having a smaller browser window to search or netbooks even?
Google Similar Images Search
Following on from a post I made a couple of weeks ago, it appears Google is hard at work adding more features to it's image search.

Being a Google product, it is naturally packed to the brim with new technology with an interface that makes it effortless to use.
Head over to the website and download it now. (Currently Windows XP/Vista only)
Google App Engine
Google have recently launched Google App Engine.
"Google App Engine enables you to build web applications on the same scalable systems that power Google applications."
I haven't as yet seen anything in their preview gallery that interests me, but I'm keen to see what people can create using this system and where it ends up going.
Google Labs Aptitude Test
I'm currently reading "The Google Story" by David A. Vise
At the back of the book is a copy of the 'Google Labs Aptitude Test' used to assess potential new developers at Google. Here is a sample of the questions...
