Where we've been
OK, so yes it was an excuse to head out to Huddersfield for some beers at Zephyr and a curry at The Nawaab, a town we frequent only once a year when the students of the multimedia and graphics are showing off their final projects.
This year was a bit special, as they have now moved from Canalside to the quite beautiful new Creative Arts Building; this space would certainly have inspired me as a young student. Check out Iman’s images on Flickr.
There was quite a bit of 3D work at the show, the two 3D pieces that I favoured were Pull by James Fleming, an animation inspired by George Méliès that included a massive amount of sketch work and prototyping for the final piece.
