The new CS5 branding is detailed by Shawn Cheris, the lead designer for Adobe’s Desktop Brand team.
I think the splash screens look impressive, really dynamic. Hopefully Adobe won't insist of them being forced to the front on the Mac this time round though! The icons are similar to the current CS4 ones with some small tweaks (not sure about these yet).
Well, finally the rumours are over and Apple have announced their tablet - or should I say the iPad (such an obvious name when you think about it). If you haven't already seen it, then watch the video.

3D CSS is appearing in the latest versions of Webkit - the rendering engine used by Google Chrome and Apple's Safari browsers. It can already do some pretty impressive stuff using 3D transformations.
To download webkit (available on Mac and Windows) go here. The browser looks incredibly like Safari 4.0 but 3D CSS is not currently in Safari 4.0 or any other released browsers.
This fluid dynamics simulator written in javascript is a great way of testing the performance of the latest browsers. Safari 4 (released on Monday) and Google Chrome are the fastest at the moment - with Firefox 3 trailing a long way behind. However, Firefox 3.5 will have a new javascript engine (then beta does show a performance improvement).

If you've ever tried to merge two folders together on OSX then you'll be familiar with this problem. On Windows when you drag a folder into another it gives you the option to replace or merge any identically named files or folders. This option isn't present on OSX, instead it only gives you the option to replace.
