It’s cool, but it’s a little slow. There’s a lot of stuttering and popping – it seems to barely be keeping up.

Unfortunately the current version doesn’t allow you to load an mp3 from an http address – just the local filesystem.

It wouldn’t be too troublesome to implement though, I’d suggest looking at the code in LocalAudioPlayer.as and modifying it for your needs. Look in the mp3LoaderCompleteHandler – this is where the loaded mp3 is assigned to a channel and the playback is started.
