Google Labs Aptitude Test
I'm currently reading "The Google Story" by David A. Vise
At the back of the book is a copy of the 'Google Labs Aptitude Test' used to assess potential new developers at Google. Here is a sample of the questions...
1. Solve the cryptic equation, realising of course that the values for M and E could be interchanged. No leading Zeroes are allowed:
WWWDOT - GOOGLE = DOTCOM
2. This space is left intentionally blank. Please fill it with something that improves on emptiness. (Below the question is an empty box)
3.What will be the next great improvement in search technology
4. What's broken with Unix? How would you fix it?
5. On an infinite, two dimensional, rectangular lattice of 1-ohm resistors, what is the resistance between two nodes that are a Knights move apart?
Answers on a postcard (or comment below)
